As above, so below

It all started in darkness
Until it was decided
All has an opposite
It all became enlightened

Mirrors reflecting mirrors
Galaxies and molecules
Composing a symphony
Cosmos acting consciously

Beginning in the micro
Repeating in the macro
Atoms circle molecules
As planets circle their star

Inside all of this darkness
Fire glows in it’s crevices
Yet it still remains unseen
We are all microscopic

And in his head he wondered
If it was these moments
That made him fall in love
Or if it was because she
Reminded him of himself
In such a number of ways

Whispers

A phantom hand plunges in your being
And pulls the weight out
Everyone becomes themselves at night.
Our words revealing our deepest frights.

Knowledge Encumbers

“Atlas was no god,
But a Modern man,
Burdened to carry,
Truth of our Reality.”

All that has happened,
In man’s history,
Has crushed my lungs
And ceased my breathing.

All of us who pray,
Wish for better days,
We wish for a life
With a real sense of
Freedom, where man
Is not limited to
These false choices
Manufactured by
Our ignorance.

Everyday they
Consume broken good.
To distract themselves
They pray to false lords.
Blind for countless years
Oh, how they suffer…
Unwilling to think,
Push us to the brink.
Thoughts of oppression,
Fuel my depression.

Hope is all we have…
So I understand
Their hesitation,
To acknowledge truth.
They hope while we push
For our world to switch.
To build paradise,
Right here in our lives.

Who Are You?

Be yourself…

An amalgation

Of past experiences,

A biological machine

Operating on

Social influences.

Memories define you,

But you still decide

What you choose to remember.

My Friend As A Snake

You can never change who you really are,
you’re born with a track
you cannot stray too far,
you’re the wise snake in a sack

You are at peace with what you have become,
Without regrets in your fake independence,
Signing those papers and away goes the trance
Four years that have been drowned in rum

Would it be sane to envy that which slithers,
Whose humanity has withered?
Will I wield the weapon of a coward
and succumb to your illusion?

A bullet has been delivered,
now continue to slither

Roads to the North from the South

Mountains are leveled
Beside these barren roads
Monuments in their place
Rust coats their pearl shells
Petroleum refineries
Abandoned by white sands

How many dotted white lines,
do we zip by in a lifetime?

II

I want to sleep, and stay asleep.

I don’t want to wake up anymore.

Not for another day.

That will be the same.

As every day before.

Democracy’s Been Placed Into A Slumber

Democracy’s been placed into a slumber
At a Bay of Pig’s mundane wonder
Who all gravel at it’s slightest snore
Cannibalistic devourers, you ignore

These shreds they gnaw at
Turn to dust and bone
Money that ‘trickles’ down
Will flood the entire town

Robbed of all our history,
And the potential to be,
A so called democracy
Believe they listen to pleas?

Twist their brains
Into supporting a regime,
That will go down in history,
As a neo-colonial army.

A regime which receives
With death’s decay,
That gains massive profits
Through a person’s pain.

Creating machines
Out of thinking men,
Creating unthinking
Murdering men
Terrorizing all of you
With misinformation,
Lambs without a clue
Coerced into invading nations.

They shout freedom,
but don’t be dumb.
A billion lie dead,
Another two never read.

They growl freedom,
but don’t be dumb,
Raze entire countries,
with your tax money

The dumb are numb,
The smart willingly become
At the face of horror,
Believing “Society must be built on order”

Oppressive engineers
Inflating currencies
Until it’s time to bite
Shreds of your rights…

We shall feel the bones,
Razed and shelled homes,
Salvage digging through
Carcasses of men
The stench of the dead
Going through your head
The cost of your ruse
A billion dead.

They raze entire countries,
While using your money.
Run tanks through towns,
Burning children down.
Have you a choice?
Refuse to stand down…

“Populations are numbers,
As long as I get money,
Fuck the lives of countless others!”
Don’t trust who you can’t see.
Is it hard for us to believe,
They encourage murder?
For trillions of dollars.

R[e]volutionary Alphabet

An ode to our forgotten future
A generation of children nurtured

By a structured society’s apathy
Bureaucrats clasp your ability to see

Censoring through clouds of lies
Cells cease to evolve, man’s rise

Deterred, by the will of one percent
Dumbing down the masses’ dissent

Enter your conscious and unlock
Ensembles webs of critical thought

Forgotten our potential, these brains
Freed from their cultural chains

Godliness, grandeur man’s destiny
Gloom forgets from here to eternity

Alma Matter

The Moon was luminous

High above dark mountains

The Horizon’s Silhoutte

Marked mountains behind forestry

Lie, lie, lie

Until you die

All you’ll leave behind

S’s & F’s

Saw a sinister prison

Surrounded by soldier snakes

Staring at LED screens

Sharing your information

See them stare over shoulders

Feet tremble, while you’re walking

Four hours in hostile halls

Familiar faces sigh

Feelings of relief stopping

Flowers in a smelly stall

Fire and Ice

nowasteddreams:

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice,
From what I’ve tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Cool breeze

Come shake the leaves

Bring leaping dreams down to their knees

Leave me naked, bark and bone

Brown the grass and bald the stone

Undress me to the elements and let me find a home

Beyond rhyme and rhythm

No harmony

Alone.
